Time is the friend of the wonderful company, the enemy of the mediocre.

If a business does well, the stock eventually follows.

When you look at what was happening with e-commerce and how big that was going to become, there's the big wave of India, there's the big wave of e-commerce, and then there's the question of, "Is this the brand to invest in?". We developed this confidence in that team, and so far we've been proven to be right about that.

The question I ask myself like almost every day is: 'Am I doing the most important thing I could be doing?' Unless I feel like I'm working on the most important problem that I can help with, then I'm not going to feel good about how I'm spending my time. And that's what this company is.

You're working because you want to change the world. You want to make it better. Why isn't the company that you work for, worthy not just of your time but your money as well? I mean, but we don't have a concept of that. That's not how we think about companies, and I think it's sad, because companies are most of our effort. They're where most of people's time is, where a lot of the money is, and so I think I'd like for us to help out more than we are.

I told all of our original investors that they would lose their money for sure.
