Oh, yesterdays are over my shoulder, so I can't look back for too long. There's just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can't go wrong.

The veils of the future are lifted one by one, and mortals must act from day to day.

I don't carry the burden of the past or the madness of the future. I live in the present.

A bright future beckons. The onus is on us, through hard work, honesty and integrity, to reach for the stars.

A society that does not value its older people denies its roots and endangers its future. Let us strive to enhance their capacity to support themselves for as long as possible and, when they cannot do so anymore, to care for them.

To the youth of today, I also have a wish to make: be the scriptwriters of your destiny and feature yourselves as stars that showed the way towards a brighter future.
