The world tells us to seek success, power and money; God tells us to seek humility, service and love.

The missionary is building the product and building the service because they love the customer, because they love the product, because they love the service. The mercenary is building the product or service so that they can flip the company and make money. Position yourself with something that captures your curiosity, something that you're missionary about.

I've been looking around, and I noticed something: how much you really need to be loved. Ambition isn't just a desperate quest for positions or money. It's just love - lots of love.

Money will not change how healthy you are or how many people love you.

Following Jesus is simple, but not easy. Love until it hurts, and then love more.

Because parents have power over children. They feel they have to do what their parents say, but the love of money is the root of all evil, and this is a sweet child. And to see him turn like this, this isn't him. This is not him.
