I used to walk like a giant on the land. Now I feel like a leaf floating in a stream.

Technology empowers the less empowered. If there is a strong force that bring a change in the lives of those on the margins it is technology. It serves as a leveler and a springboard.

It was a useful reminder that all men, even the most seemingly cold-blooded, have a core of decency, and that if their heart is touched, they are capable of changing.

Don't change on me. Don't extort me unless you intend to do it forever.

It was ANC policy to try to educate all people, even our enemies: we believed that all men, even prison service warders, were capable of change, and we did our utmost to try to sway them.

I believe that in the end that it is kindness and accommodation that are all the catalysts for real change.
