Change based on principle is progress. Constant change without principle becomes chaos.

Technology empowers the less empowered. If there is a strong force that bring a change in the lives of those on the margins it is technology. It serves as a leveler and a springboard.

The remains of the old must be decently laid away; the path of the new prepared. That is the difference between Revolution and Progress.

Favor comes because for a brief moment in the great space of human change and progress some general human purpose finds in him a satisfactory embodiment.

The most serious threat to our institutions comes from those who refuse to face the need for change.
