Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools. Wise people create opportunities for themselves and make everything possible.

We are apt to run from one extreme into another. To anticipate & prevent disasterous contingencies would be the part of wisdom & patriotism.

Fools multiply when wise men are silent.

The stupid speak of the past, the wise of the present, and fools of the future.

Fools call wise men fools. A wise man never calls any man a fool.

Any attempts at autobiography before the age of eighty seem pretty self-involved to me. There are a lot of smart middle aged people but not many wise ones.
