Being on stage is magic. There's nothing like it. You feel the energy of everybody who's out there. You feel it all over your body. When the lights hit you, it's all over, I swear it is.

To live is to be musical, starting with the blood dancing in your veins. Everything living has a rhythm. Do you feel your music?

My goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance.

For me, singing was real life, not two plus two equals four.

The first guitar I ever had was a gut-string Spanish guitar, and I couldn't really get the hang of it. I was only 13, and I talked my grandparents into buying it for me. I tried and tried and tried, but got nowhere with it.

Music changed my life. I don't know who I would be without it. Don't ignore even the smallest glimmer of passion in your soul, run towards it with everything you have. It could change your life.
