If you're sitting around waiting on somebody to save you, to fix you, to even help you, you are wasting your time because only you have the power to take responsibility to move your life forward.

Blame nobody else, do not commit the mistake of the ignorant.

Guide the people by law, subdue them by punishment; they may shun crime, but will be void of shame. Guide them by example, subdue them by courtesy; they will learn shame, and come to be good.

It is not enough to prove something, one also has to seduce or elevate people to it. That is why the man of knowledge should learn how to speak his wisdom: and often in such a way that it sounds like folly!

Even as a solid rock is unshaken by the wind, so are the wise unshaken by praise or blame.

It's good to learn from your mistakes. It's better to learn from other people's mistakes.
