It is a fine thing to be honest, but it is also very important to be right.

I want in all cases to do right, and most particularly so, in all cases with women.

Stand with anybody that stands RIGHT. Stand with him while he is right and PART with him when he goes wrong.

Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith, let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it.

I'd prefer to be right than consistent.

I do not wish any reward but to know I have done the right thing.
