I always thought money was something just to make me happy. But I've learned that I feel better being able to help my folks, 'cause we never had nothing. So just to see them excited about my career is more of a blessing than me actually having it for myself.

Peace and war begin at home. If we truly want peace in the world, let us begin by loving one another in our own families. If we want to spread joy, we need for every family to have joy.

I am not here, of course, as one pretending to any expertness on questions of youth and children - except in the sense that, within their own families, all grandfathers are experts on these matters.

Families break up when they get hints you don't intend and miss hints that you do.

Like all the best families, we have our share of eccentricities, of impetuous and wayward youngsters and of family disagreements.

The family remains the basic unit of society and the first school in which children learn the human, spiritual and moral values which enable them to be a beacon of goodness, integrity and justice in our communities.
