Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it's just basically another word for equality.

I am not a feminist, but I do believe in the strength of women.

It has been women who have breathed gentleness and care into the harsh progress of mankind.

Dignity of women is our collective responsibility. There should be no compromise in this matter. There should be no erosion in the law and order situation. We have to revive the family culture in which a woman is respected and considered equal, her dignity encouraged.

That's all I could ever hope for, to have a positive effect on women. 'Cause women are powerful, powerful beings. But they're also the most doubtful beings. They'll never know - we'll never know - how powerful we are.

The glass ceiling will go away when women help other women break through that ceiling.
