My goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance.

The important point is to not just follow your passion but something larger than yourself.

If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.

Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do.

The first time I knew what I wanted to do with my life was when I was about four years old. I was listening to an old Victrola, playing a railroad song...I thought that was the most wonderful, amazing thing...That you could take this piece of wax and music would come out of that box. From that day on, I wanted to sing on the radio.

When you're doing something for yourself, or your best friend or family, you're not going to cheese out. If you don't love something, you're not going to go the extra mile, work the extra weekend, challenge the status quo as much.
