The liar is a person who uses the valid designations, the words, in order to make something which is unreal appear to be real. He says, for example, "I am rich," when the proper designation for his condition would be "poor."

Even a little untruth destroys a man, as a drop of poison ruins milk.

Of all the animals, man is the only one that lies.

Remember that a man, a true man, never hates. His rages and his bad moods never last beyond the present moment-like electric shocks.

Be bad, but at least don't be a liar, a deceiver!

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.
