Everybody has goals, aspirations or whatever, and everybody has been at a point in their life where nobody believed in them...But when I say I'm going to do something, I have to do it.

See for the highest, aim at that highest, and you shall reach the highest.

It's quite possible to do anything, but not to put it on the leaders and the parking meters. Don't expect Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan or John Lennon or Yoko Ono or Bob Dylan or Jesus Christ to come and do it for you. You have to do it yourself.

As for a limit to one's labors, I, for one, do not recognize any for a high-minded man, except that the labors themselves should lead to noble accomplishments.

If you're doing anything interesting in the world, you are going to have critics. You can't stop it. Move forward. It's not worth losing any sleep over.

There is nothing impossible to him who will try.
