Certainly I'm not going to sit on the Internet all day and read what Sam from Iowa is saying about me. But I'm a sponge. I've always been a sponge.

The way people look at me these days - that's the same way I looked at President Obama before I met him. We tend to forget that people who've attained a certain position are human.

When I went to rehab, somebody said to me: 'You're so lucky - normally most people that come here have lost everything and they have to rebuild.' I hadn't really lost anything. I just lost a little bit of respect from my mates.

I don't see myself being special; I just see myself having more responsibilities than the next man. People look to me to do things for them, to have answers.

When people go to rehab and come out, they go through a difficult period, a lot of people. I never had that. I was so glad to be rid of all that crap that for me, to learn again and to function as a human being and learn how to participate in the human race again was just pure joy.

Becoming famous was never what I wanted to do. There's a lot of things that come with fame - it's what people in the limelight have to do.
