It's the game of life. Do I win or do I lose? One day they're gonna shut the game down. I gotta have as much fun and go around the board as many times as I can before it's my turn to leave.

It takes no more time to see the good side of life than it takes to see the bad.

Life is short. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly and love truly.

Maybe there is another who sees life not as a flickering candle but as a torch that can illuminate an undiscovered world.

That is why, no matter how desperate the predicament is, I am always very much in earnest about clutching my cane, straightening my derby hat and fixing my tie, even though I have just landed on my head.

We must laugh in the face of our helplessness against the forces of nature - or go insane.
