The libraries of America are and must ever remain the home of free and inquiring minds. To them, our citizens - of all ages and races, of all creeds and persuasions - must be able to turn with clear confidence that there they can freely seek the whole truth, unvarnished by fashion and uncompromised by expediency.

We must become free. We are free; the work is to know it. We must give up all slavery, all bondage of whatever kind. We must not only give up our bondage to earth and everything and everybody on earth, but also to all ideas of heaven and happiness.

Jah come to break downpression, rule equality, wipe away transgression, set the captives free.

Today they say that we are free, only to be chained in poverty.

So, come with me, to a land of liberty, where we can live, live our lives and be free.
