This music is about struggle. Reggae is a vehicle to carry a message of freedom and peace.

When I first started out in this music industry, I was most concerned with freedom. Freedom to produce, freedom to play all the instruments on my records, freedom to say anything I wanted to.

Freedom comes when you learn to let go, creation comes when you learn to say 'no'.

I think my first album opened a lot of doors for me to push the freedom of speech to the limit.

For too many of us life was no longer free; liberty no longer real; men could no longer follow the pursuit of happiness.
