Negroes hold only one key to the double lock of peaceful change. The other is in the hands of the white community.

I like progress but I hate change.

People change. I wouldn't like to be accountable for the interviews I've done, or the person I was when I was 20, 21.

You get to a point in life where things are happening everywhere around you, and your friends are going away and not coming back. Things change.
