Everybody sooner or later has to drop the luggage and the baggage of illusions.

To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo.

The more real you get, the more unreal the world gets.

The beast is the modern world that we live in! The material world. The physical world. The world of illusion that we think is real. We live for it; we're enslaved by it. And it will ultimately be our undoing.

The world becomes an apparently infinite, yet possibly finite, card game. Image combinations, permutations, comprise the world game.
