Russia condemns North Korea's exercises, we consider that they are a provocation but ramping up military hysteria will lead to nothing good. It could lead to a global catastrophe.

The knowledge of higher leadership can only be acquired by the study of military history and actual experience. There are no hard and fast rules; everything depends on the plans of the general, the condition of the troops, the season of the year, and a thousand other circumstances, which have the effect that no one case will ever resemble another.

There iswisdom in this, as it leads to clarity of thought....our American military colleagues, after having proclaimed their "over-all strategic concept" and computed availableresources, always proceed to the next step-namely, the method.

A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction.
