I meet so many people that just sort of say, "I want to thank you for your music. It really helped me" or "It changed my life."

Hip-hop is ever changing but you'll always have the pack. And you'll always have those people who are separated from the pack.

I love to hear a choir. I love the humanity... to see the faces of real people devoting themselves to a piece of music. I like the teamwork. It makes me feel optimistic about the human race when I see them cooperating like that.

If you're out there day after day, going around playing the same places, you pretty much think you've reached your audience. But there's more people finding my music every day.

Music is for people who can't handle their own thoughts.

I've always said music should make you laugh, make you cry or make you think.
