When you're famous you kind of run into human nature in a raw kind of way. It stirs up envy, fame does.

One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people-I categorize them as life's losers-who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I'm concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn't be fighting me, they'd be doing something constructive themselves.

Success makes so many people hate you. I wish it wasn't that way. It would be wonderful to enjoy success without seeing envy in the eyes of those around you.

Envy, hatred and malice among Nations have reached their peak and will be succeeded by a new tide of peace and good-will.

Envy is a declaration of inferiority.

Wherever good fortune enters, envy lays siege to the place and attacks it; and when it departs, sorrow and repentance remain behind.
