We think about having this global community, but the social fabric that we have is not one big community. It is millions of small communities and social structures and families that exist - that are really the things that we turn to for our personal and emotional and spiritual needs. And that gives us our sense of hope and purpose in life.

The world is seeing India with a ray of hope and our diaspora can play a crucial role in further spreading it. The Indian community does not settle abroad to enter into politics or take a seat in the global politics. Wherever they go, they think and act towards benefit of the society.

Where do the evils like corruption arise from? It comes from the never-ending greed. The fight for corruption-free ethical society will have to be fought against this greed and replace it with 'what can I give' spirit.

A great man is different from an eminent one in that he is ready to be the servant of the society.

The civilized classes and nations are swept away by the grand rush for contemptible wealth. Never was the world worldlier, never was it emptier of love and goodness.

Let us never forget that authentic power is service, which has its radiant culmination on the Cross.
