I don't think I was fundamentally different from what I was before I went to jail, except that in jail I had a lot of time to think about problems and to see the mistakes that we had committed. I came out mature.

I don't expect politicians to solve anybody's problems. We've got to take the world by the horns and solve our own problems. The world owes us nothing, each and every one of us, the world owes us not one single thing. Politicians or whoever.

I only follow my voice inside. If it guides me wrong and I do not win, I'll learn from my mistakes and try to achieve again.

I am the first to admit I have made a couple of mistakes: two trips to rehab, Rudebox, the album, Geri Halliwell. I should have gone for Victoria, really, shouldn't I? I'd have been really famous.

I always say the minute I stop making mistakes is the minute I stop learning and I've definitely learned a lot.

I do not trust self serving misinformation coming from corporations and their media trolls. I do not trust politicians who are taking millions from those corporations either. I trust people. So I make my music for people not for candidates.
