It is the prime responsibility of every citizen to feel that his country is free and to defend its freedom is his duty. Every Indian should now forget that he is a Rajput, a Sikh or a Jat. He must remember that he is an Indian and he has every right in this country but with certain duties.

First thing, to Hindustan's citizens, to voters, Hindus and Muslims, I'm not in favour of dividing. I'm not in favour of dividing Hindus and Sikhs. I'm not in favour of dividing Hindus and Christians. All the citizens, all the voters, are my countrymen.

I now understand that my welfare is only possible if I acknowledge my unity with all the people of the world without exception.

If God had so wished, he would have made all Indians speak with one language ... the unity of India has been and shall always be a unity in diversity.

We understand it still that there is no easy road to freedom. We know it well that none of us acting alone can achieve success.

The language, the cultural patterns, the music, the material prosperity, and even the food of America are an amalgam of black and white.
