It is this simplicity of the Christmas story that makes it so universally appealing, simple happenings that formed the starting point of the life of Jesus. A man whose teachings have been handed down from generation to generation, and have been the bedrock of my faith.

Jesus is who saved me. He's what keeps me full and whole.

I wear black for those who never read or listen to the words that Jesus said, about the road to happiness, through love and charity.

I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us, and we change things.

At the heart of silence is prayer. At the heart of prayer is faith. At the heart of faith is life. At the heart of life is service.

Brothers, Fathers and Sisters - all of us in the Missionaries of Charity are doing the same. All of us have been created by God to love and to be loved. We are involved in this work. When you do that, there is joy, unity and love.
