Music will always find its way to us, with or without business, politics, religion, or any other bullshit attached. Music survives everything, and like God, it is always present. It needs no help, and suffers no hindrance.

We're smart enough to make these millions, strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business.

We shouldn't be angry and my raps that I'm rapping to my community shouldn't be filled with rage? They shouldn't be filled with the same atrocities that they gave to me? In the media, they don't talk about it. So in my raps, I have to talk about it.

Mainly, I don't like it when music is made solely to impress people or in order to please business people; it doesn't sound good to me. If you're making music in order to become famous or loved by the masses that's not what I'm about. When somebody's making music for the wrong reasons, I hear it right away.
