The idea is, if I can't heal from my art, then how can you heal?

Money is completely boring to me. It means nothing, except it feeds my art. Every penny I make goes back into the Haus of GaGa. My Haus of GaGa is something like Andy Warhol's Factory.

There is a lot of snobbery towards pop music, to me and pop in general - it's kind of a despised art form.

I think art is inherently nonviolent and it actually occupies your mind with creation rather than destruction.

If we really are saying that rap is an art form, then we got to be more responsible for our lyrics. If you see everybody dying because of what you are saying, it don't matter that you didn't make them die. It just matters that you didn't save them.

People who paint, including myself, get to a point where a bit of angst comes in. If you're doing it for a living, it's worth it to suffer those slings and arrows.
