I was angry because they sued.

I write songs because that's the thing I chose to do. And I can't help writing them, that's a fact. Sometimes I felt as though you worked to justify your existence, but you don't; you work to exist, and vice versa, and that's it, really.

When you are right, you have no need to be angry. When you are wrong, you have no right to be angry.

I just want to write songs in my little corner. And I still love music, I've not been worn down by cynicism.

Anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding.

For me, life is writing and I can do it anywhere. It doesn't matter where I am. I listen. I write. I live.
