The best belongs to me and mine; and if we are not given it, we take it: the best food, the purest sky, the most robust thoughts, the fairest women!

If I ever go to West Africa, it would probably be for a free concert. I would want to do something for the people there. Maybe we can make a whole event, the way Bob Marley would have done it. Just for the people. And if they climb over the gate, let them climb over the gate.

Everybody has goals, aspirations or whatever, and everybody has been at a point in their life where nobody believed in them...But when I say I'm going to do something, I have to do it.

I have no aspirations of growing old and boring.

I know I am pretentious, but I'd be the first person to tell you that. And I'm not apologising, because I'm bored of indie bands that are terrified of doing anything that could be perceived as aspirational, so they don't affect the status quo of their little cliquey band world.

There are multiple sides to all of us. Who we are - and who we might be if we follow our dreams.
