I'm really happy to be me, and I'd like to think people like me more because I'm happy with myself and not because I refuse to conform to anything.

I always try to be myself. Ever since I was an introverted kid, I'd get on stage and be able to break out of my shell.

My biggest thing is to teach not to focus on the aesthetic. It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful.

It would be so helpful for the straight community to see men in powerful positions coming out and saying "I'm gay" so they don't have these preconceived notions that all gay men are smarmy idiots living on the street or whatever it is people think of gay men. I think it would be really helpful and productive.

When you love and accept yourself, when you know who really cares about you, and when you learn from your mistakes, then you stop caring about what people who don't know you think.

Don't you know your imperfections is a wonderful blessing, from heaven is where you got it from.
