I just don't believe that Americans, 163 [million] intelligent Americans, are going to be satisfied either with the action or with such a distinct trend toward centralization and paternalism in our Government that it becomes difficult to detect it from a socialistic form.

My focus is on governance. Country has been at greatest loss because governments were run only for elections. Governments must not run only for elections. The government should be a bona fide attempt of meeting the demands and expectations of the common people.

We must make it our business to explain what we mean by middle-of-the-road government [dynamic conservatism]. This is the courageous, the constructive path that all of us must take.

Impressed with a conviction that the due administration of justice is the firmest pillar of good government, I have considered the first arrangement of the judicial department as essential to the happiness of our country and to the stability of its' political system--hence the selection of the fittest characters to expound the laws, and dispense justice, has been an invariable object of my anxious concern.

You can imagine how terrible the conspiracy must have been. However, the police under the Congress government there did such a thing that all the culprits were released from jail after being declared innocent. No one was punished. This policy of appeasement is the only identity of the Congress. Will you allow such a party to come to power in Karnataka?

Almost any one of the newborn states of the world would far rather embrace Communism or any other form of dictatorship than acknowledge the political domination of another government, even though that brought to each citizen a far higher standard of living.
