I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.

Generosity brings happiness at every stage of its expression. We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous. We experience joy in the actual act of giving something. And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given.

For too many of us life was no longer free; liberty no longer real; men could no longer follow the pursuit of happiness.

Time heals, and experience teaches that the secret of happiness is in service to others.

When real music comes to me - the music of the spheres, the music that surpasseth understanding - that has nothing to do with me, 'cause I'm just the channel. The only joy for me is for it to be given to me, and to transcribe it like a medium...those moments are what I live for.
