I think it is often easier to make progress on mega-ambitious dreams. Since no one else is crazy enough to do it, you have little competition. In fact, there are so few people this crazy that I feel like I know them all by first name.

If we drive down the cost of transportation in space, we can do great things.

We are not shooting for the moon. We are shooting for Mars. A maniacal sense of urgency is our operating principle.

I'm interested in things that change the world or that affect the future and wondrous, new technology where you see it, and you're like, 'Wow, how did that even happen? How is that possible?

So probably from when I was 12, I knew I was going to start a company eventually.

I try to focus on that: What is the future really going to be? And how do we create it? And how do we power our organization to really focus on that and really drive it at a high rate?
