The hardest thing for - not only an artist but for anybody to do is look themselves in the mirror and acknowledge, you know, their own flaws and fears and imperfections and put them out there in the open for people to relate to it.

Start with the man in the mirror. Start with yourself. Don't be looking at all the other things. Start with you.

Look not to the faults of others, nor to their omissions and commissions. But rather look to your own acts, to what you have done and left undone.

I will hazard a prediction. When you are eighty years old and, in a quiet moment of reflection, narrating for only yourself the mostpersonal version of your life story, the telling that will be most compact and meaningful will be the series of choices you have made.In the end, we are our choices.
