I fall in love far too quickly and end up getting hurt all the time. I've got scars all over.

I do not believe it is in our nature to love impartially. We deceive ourselves when we think we can love two beings, even our own children, equally. There is always a dominant affection.

We attack not only to hurt someone, to defeat him, but perhaps also simply to become conscious of our own strength.

One day you will realise that material things mean nothing. All that matters is the well-being of the people you love.

Following Jesus is simple, but not easy. Love until it hurts, and then love more.
