The markets are going to boom, the stock is going to boom, the country is going to boom, and the rest of the world wants to see is there any way they can make a deal. They've taken advantage of us for many, many years. For many years we've been at the wrong side of the ball. And I'll tell you what, I think it's going to be unbelievable.

We get to do business all over the world, and it's rare to have such a big economy [India], growing so fast, and creating so much opportunity for so many. We want to be part of the process to strengthen the country, to serve its citizens and to demonstrate that we're a trusted partner across all these dimensions.

I believe it is wrong for Canada to follow the path of countries who exploit large numbers of guest workers, who have no realistic prospect of citizenship. It is bad for our economy in that it depresses wages for all Canadians, but it's even worse for our country.

We passed massive tax cuts to bring back jobs and factories home from other countries. We've cut a record number of job-killing regulation. We ended the war on American energy. And the United States is now the number-one producer of oil and natural gas anywhere in the world, by far.

Jobs and factories will come roaring back into our country, and you see it happening already. We will supercharge our domestic industrial base. We will pry open foreign markets and break down foreign trade barriers, and ultimately, more production at home will mean stronger competition and lower prices for consumers.

Republican Senators, do not vote for this terrible deal (debt limit) being pushed by folding Mitch McConnell. Stand strong for our Country.
