I know men; and I tell you that Jesus Christ is not a man. Superficial minds see a resemblance between Christ and the founders of empires, and the gods of other religions. That resemblance does not exist. There is between Christianity and whatever other religions the distance of infinity.

Faith in Jesus Christ helps one to joyfully live life "on wings of hope."

Mission is a passion for Jesus and at the same time a passion for his people.

What is God's love? It is not something vague, some generic feeling. God's love has a name and a face: Jesus Christ, Jesus. Love for God is made manifest in Jesus.

How beautiful is the gaze with which Jesus regards us-how full of tenderness! Let us never lose trust in the patience and mercy of God.

Sin is more than a stain. Sin is a wound; it needs to be treated, healed. The place where my encounter with the mercy of Jesus takes place is my sin.
