I have all the patience in the world about Sirens. For me it's not a Grateful Dead project, it's a Me project.

You can't ride the rails anymore in this country, but you can follow the Grateful Dead.

I think The Grateful Dead kind of represents the spirit of being able to go out and have an adventure in America at large.

You can't just play the way The Grateful Dead plays without working at it. It's not something that is easy or just happened to us. There was a long, slow process that brought that into being.

Those minutes that I'm on stage are the best! Being there and looking at the crowd and seeing their faces, hearing them sing the positive words from the songs.

It's a fine line between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
