Dependence is misery. Independence is happiness.

I felt like it was time to set up my future, so I set a goal. My goal was independence.

I truly believe that women should be financially independent from their men. And let's face it, money gives men the power to run the show. It gives men the power to define value. They define what's sexy. And men define what's feminine. It's ridiculous.

Make sure you have your own life before becoming someone's wife.

I have often pondered over the dangers which were incurred by the men who assembled here, and framed and adopted that Declaration of Independence. I have pondered over the toils that were endured by the officers and soldiers of the army who achieved that Independence.

Hell is full of musical amateurs: music is the brandy of the damned. May not one lost soul be permitted to abstain?
