Songs should follow the state of mind of the actor on screen. It can be grammatically perfect, you know, with all those embellishments that the ustads are good at, only if you're singing for a film on, say, the life of Tansen.

People are used to hard rock, energy music from Queen, yet with ['Killer Queen'] you almost expect Noel Coward to sing it. It's one of those bowler hat, black suspender belt numbers -- not that Coward would wear that.

There's something missing in the music industry today... and it's music. Songs you hear don't last, it's just product fed to you by the industry.
