If there is anything good that exists and endures in this world, it is only because, in innumerable situations, love has prevailed over hate, solidarity over indifference, generosity over selfishness.

What is God's love? It is not something vague, some generic feeling. God's love has a name and a face: Jesus Christ, Jesus. Love for God is made manifest in Jesus.

It's always wrong to hate, but it's never wrong to love.

Modern psychology recognizes what Jesus taught centuries ago: Hate divides the personality and love in an amazing and inexorable way unites it.

Love is great, love is fine. Out the box, out of line. The affliction of the feeling leaves me wanting more.

I'd rather people love me or hate me than have no opinion of me. Indifference is scary.
