The first thing I'd do in the morning was have a little coffee and do a verse and chorus of a song. I had to learn the chords. I was playing the pump organ or piano, sometimes a guitar.

That's why they have menus in restaurants, you know. I like steak, somebody else likes spaghetti. That's why they have menus in restaurants. It's a great world.

I tell my kids no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes. But the world is so competitive that if you're stuck on drugs or alcohol, you're not going to be able to compete. It's going to be a disaster. And you know, it potentially can ruin your life.

I'm a flamboyant person. I like to live life. I certainly work hard for it, and I want to have a good time. Don't deny me that. It might not come again and I want to enjoy myself a little.

What I learned in jail is that I can't change. I can't live a different lifestyle - this is it. This is the life that they gave and this is the life that I made.

Of course I'm going to say 'I'm a thug,' that's because I came from the gutter and I'm still here!
