When I won the first Grammy, there was no other feeling like that feeling. It just made me feel like I came so far, like that was just a dream a few years before that, and then it was happening right then.

Sometimes if you want to achieve something great, there will be curveballs. You just have to dodge them every once in a while.

What is the happiness ? Is it really happiness ? Nothing stable, just happen, stay and decay... Everything is impermanence, dissatisfaction and nothing can ever belong to itself.

For those who are poor in happiness, each time is a first time; happiness never becomes a habit.

I'll continue to try and balance like a circus act. And I will just fight to always tell the truth. Even if it's difficult.

The loss of these tastes [for poetry and music] is a loss of happiness, and may possibly be injurious to the intellect, and more probably to the moral character, by enfeebling the emotional part of our nature.
