Be honest, truthful, and altruistic. If you concern yourself with taking care of others, there'll be no room for lies, bullying, and cheating. If you're truthful you can live transparently, which will enable you to establish trust, the basis for making friends.

I do not trust self serving misinformation coming from corporations and their media trolls. I do not trust politicians who are taking millions from those corporations either. I trust people. So I make my music for people not for candidates.

This world of ours, ever growing smaller, must avoid becoming a community of dreadful fear and hate, and be, instead, a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect. Such a confederation must be one of equals.

If we lose that sacred fire - if we let it be smothered with doubt and fear - then we shall reject the destiny which Washington strove so valiantly and so triumphantly to establish.

As I have said, the first thing is to be honest with yourself. You can never have an impact on society if you have not changed yourself.

Great peacemakers are all people of integrity, of honesty, but humility.
