When I'm there, I'm not here. I can't talk about my singing; I'm inside it. How can you describe something you're inside of?

Music changed my life. I don't know who I would be without it. Don't ignore even the smallest glimmer of passion in your soul, run towards it with everything you have. It could change your life.

My goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance.

I lived my teenage years in my 20s when I sort of left home and became Elton John success, then it became Elton John excess... Everything I couldn't do when I was younger I did 10 times over. I was having the time of my life. I was becoming the person that I wanted to be.

I sacrifice in my love life and my social life, but those things will be there in three or four years. This is a really important time in my life. I can't just be the girl who sang 'I Kissed a Girl.' I have to leave a legacy.

I have been singing randomly, obsessively, obnoxiously for as long as I can remember.
