Much was to be done by prudence, much by conciliation, much by firmness. Few, who are not philosophical spectators, can realize the difficult and delicate part, which a man in my situation had to act.

I must, in candor, say I do not think myself fit for the Presidency.

I don't expect politicians to solve anybody's problems. We've got to take the world by the horns and solve our own problems. The world owes us nothing, each and every one of us, the world owes us not one single thing. Politicians or whoever.

I have been occupying a position, since the Presidential election, of silence, of avoiding public speaking, of avoiding public writing. I have been doing so because I thought, upon full consideration, that was the proper course for me to take.

The Union, in any event, won't be dissolved. We don't want to dissolve it, and if you attempt it, we won't let you.

Only being an administrator & controller is not enough. Everybody, at every level, has to be an agent of change. Initiatives have succeeded when 'Jan Bhagidari' is embraced.
